1620 WTAW is one of the oldest radio stations in America and serves as the current flagship for Texas A&M Athletics. This news department is also one of the most awarded in the state. In addition to being the home of some of the most noted local broadcasters in the Brazos Valley, it is also the home of the nationally syndicated talents Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.
Zone 1150, better known as Sports Radio 1150 The Zone, can be heard both at 1150 AM and on Zone HD (95.1 HD-3). This station is the area’s home for sports, commentary, controversy, and most importantly the Texas A&M Aggies. With shows like The Louie Belina Show, TexAgs Radio, Studio 12, The Front Page, and Chip Howard’s Sports Talk, it serves as the area’s hub for scores and the storylines that surround them.
Candy 95, while just a decade old, has changed the radio landscape in Bryan-College Station. Easily the area’s most recognizable radio brand, Candy 95 blends a playlist of the biggest hits in America with the hottest locally produced radio content. Personalities like Frito and Leni, Katy Dempsey, and Adam Knight have become household names working with dynamic music to entertain and inform the Brazos Valley. Candy 95 also exists online on Candy95.com, Facebook, and Twitter with followings larger than all other area radio stations combined. In keeping with the belief at Bryan Broadcasting that service comes first, Candy 95 spends countless time producing and promoting numerous area charities. Their efforts were recognized on the national stage as they were declared Crystal Award winners in 2012 (an award won by only 6 stations in Texas since its inception).
Peace 107 is the newest station to Bryan Broadcasting and is the area’s only Christian Contemporary Music station. Peace 107 was built to offer uplifting and encouraging content and has already cultivated an unprecedented following. Programs like Brian Christopher in the Morning, Afternoons with Jami, and Night Light w/ Andrea offer wonderful community events as well as stories of faith and encouragement to a dedicated audience.
1510 KAGC, our Christian Teaching/Talk station, has become Brazos Valley’s home to Dave Ramsey as it focuses on Family, and more.
KWBC, the News/Talk Station based in Navasota, TX, offers the surrounding county with local news, talk, and Navasota sports programs like Football and Basketball (both of which have become major players at the state level).
